Prosperous Pet Business Podcast

Podcast #122: 13-Year-Old Who Wants to Grow His Pet Product Business

Ari is the youngest entrepreneur I’ve coached. He’s 13 years old and has created a Marin County, California product business that is gift baskets for dogs. He sells his baskets to neighbors, by word of mouth from those who share about his creative venture with their friends and family. He ships his baskets to those who have ordered them from various parts of the United States.

Ari is wondering how to grow his pet product business and he’d especially like to increase his business exposure by being interviewed on podcasts and other media.

More than a coaching session, I found this to be a very touching conversation with a fascinating, articulate and confident young business owner. I think you’re going to like it.

Hi Kristin,

"Ari had a special Christmas Stocking filled with dog treats, which also did very well in sales. Currently he is putting together an Easter 🐣 Treat basket for dogs, where he collaborates with the Greenfield Twins (also YouTubers and podcasters) on adding homemade dog friendly “chocolates” made from peanut butter.

Ari’s e-commerce is now fully up and running, he ships his baskets across the continental US for a low shipping fee. Advertising for e-commence is new for him and there is still a lot to learn. So far the sales are the most lucrative when he shows up in person. Ari is still fully dedicated to growing his business and he envisions it to be his main source of “high school income” through the high school years, allowing for him to save for college."

Thanks, Kristin!
