Hi Kristin,

I created the spreadsheet you suggested and found that about half of the businesses in my area with the same tenure have more expensive rates, and about half the businesses are less expensive.

But my service area is in the less affluent areas. So I thought maybe I would open up another service area to roll out the new prices. I’m staying near North Park and Kensington where the pet sitting rates are much higher. I worked on a marketing plan and I’ll need to do some SEO on my website for those new areas. And also, I do cat nail trims for which I’m sure there’s a need out there which is a good way to get my foot in the door with new clients.

I’m totally slammed right now, all the summer reservations are coming in! I actually got too much work in my area this month and next month and had to give some jobs to my nephew. He grew up working in my business 🙂

Thank you so much for the podcast coaching opportunity and I hope to have more good news for you soon.

~Nicole
