Taking The Leap From One (Wo)Man Pet Business to Delegating and Creating Your Team

Andrea went from doing the dog training herself to creating a team of wonderful dog trainers to work with her, so she could focus on other activities, including being an Animal Planet host!  Whether you are a pet sitter, dog walker, dog trainer, pet groomer or doggy day care owner, you are sure to pick up many nuggets and ‘inner a-has’ when it comes to creating and managing a team to work for you. In this segment, Andrea will share how she did it (spoiler alert: it wasn’t all a walk in the park!) and how you can do it too.

Any specific input on phone systems to use for admin working phones remotely when our business has no brick and mortar facility just yet? We want calls to come up on caller ID as our business name and be able to be used by two owners or the admin.

    Hi C.C.
I really recommend Ooma Office (http://www.ooma.com/business/). It’s amazing and I think it will work perfectly for your needs.

I was recently in Hawaii and my cell phone didn’t work (often the case in paradise!) but I was able to make my coaching calls using my Ooma smart phone app. It bypassed the bad cell reception and sounded crystal clear. I love Ooma!

Loved this video today. I’m at the point now where I’m thinking of taking on a manager rule in the business. I’m coming to the realization that I can’t do it all anymore, especially with young children. Thanks for the inspiration!

Really enjoyed listening to Andrea and picking out some great gems of advice. The timing is perfect. I’ve been thinking that down the road maybe I would hire some help so this was “helpful” pun intended! Thanks for this wonderful series!
