Kristin - MUSINGSKristin’s Musings:

I don’t often use the word ‘hoot’ but I will here: Steve Dale is a hoot! He’s such a livewire and I never knew where he was going to take the interview (which was pretty fun and exciting). Also his unusual-breed cat is adorable (wait until you see). He knows cats better than most people on the planet do, so he was the perfect person for this segment. This interview goes a bit longer than the usual 25-35 minutes, and I think you’ll find that it’s worth watching all the way through. He’s got so much cat wisdom to share!

Wow! So happy that you included a cat specialist in the program! I could’ve listened to Steve share his wisdom for hours! I often hear from my new cat clients that’s it’s the first time they’ve returned from a trip to find their cats calm & contented, & I’m certain it’s because we take the time to devote attention to them every visit, even in multi-pet households, For scaredy-cats, just sitting quietly in the same room with them can work wonders. About 25-30% of my business is from all-cat households, so if anyone is looking for an easy, relaxing, out-of-the-elements way to increase business shares, add more cat sits! Steve is right: cat owners are everywhere & they know each other. 🙂

Steve Dale is wonderful and hits the nail on the head every time. I had the pleasure of meeting Steve in San Diego and speaking with him during the conference. I always pick up a new piece of information when I hear him speak. I have Good Cat and it is informative, I strongly recommend reading the ebook. Thank you for having Steve speak and especially focusing on cats. They are the second class citizens and I try so hard to get clients to understand a cat’s behavior and thinking. I not only have a cat only sitting business, but I am a RVT at a small animal veterinary practice and I do a lot of cat behavior consults. Thank you and Steve for this segment.
