Kristin - MUSINGSKristin’s Musings:

Words don’t really do this woman justice but I will try! I think you really have to be in her presence (or watch this interview) to really get who Jen is. Here are words that come to mind when I think about who Jen is: transparent, authentic, joyful and articulate. She’s also a fabulous speaker (as you may have noticed). As I mentioned in Jen’s interview, I first read her The Woman’s Comfort Book many, many years ago when I was first starting my business and struggling with managing my business and my life (and not doing a very good job at either). Her book did live up to its title, and I came away with many ideas to nurture and care for myself at that deep level. I invite you to sit back, relax and take some much-needed time for yourself while you watch this segment. Jen will help put things in perspective and give you some tools to recover from burnout.

    Hi pet business owners,

Today is the last day of the two week conference. Hope you’ve been enjoying it!

If you missed some of the speakers, you can get the unlimited viewing package here at a low price (the price goes up on Monday, October 1, 2018): http://prosperouspetbusiness.com/speaker-video-package-2018/

Hope you enjoyed today’s speaker, Jen Louden. Do you practice “self care” on a regular basis? It often gets bumped to the bottom of the to do list and then the personal life begins to suffer!

I’d love to know what self care actions you take on a regular basis and/or what you most got as a result of watching this segment with Jen. I look forward to hearing from you and hope you’ve enjoyed the conference.

    ~Kristin

    My Dear Kristin,
I feel as though I know you after the last 14 days. That is a good thing! Your experience in the pet sitting business resonates with me. I am most appreciative for the free access to this conference. Unfortunately I was unable to watch all the speakers due to devastating hurricane Florence in NC. Power, floods & pet rescues. We are good for now.

Feedback for you. I am looking back, I can definitely tell which speakers were most informative based on my notes.
Your webinar – very informative. Loved to see such a large community & you lit up with each question. You are so good at what you do
Adam Toporelc-customer service is my jam. He was spot on.
Susan Jackson – very specific which is exactly what I was looking for. Her nugget about Canva.com changed my world. thank you thank you!
SARK- lovely lovely person. very enjoyable & insightful
Trish Watorsky. did not get to watch entire session. I have used personal mail because no one else does. It makes me unique & people love it.
Patti Moran. The first book I ever read on pet sitting. She is a sharp business person. 2 pages of notes from her talk. All very helpful
Marc Allen. OMG. I just ordered Type Z book. He sings my song. His key words ‘abundance’ ‘i am enough’ ‘affirmation’ ‘self-correct when get off path just like a pilot’. You just created a huge Marc Allen fan, thank you

Two items that come to mind I wanted more info on were:
copy right laws for photos & digital content.
Trademark application process. I have finally decided a lawyer is the best route even if it cost more. Your experience confirmed that.

Thank you for being you Kristen! Best wishes on your wedding. I am going to bruce springsteen on broadway this thursday in nyc to celebrate 30 years. woo hoo.

This years guest speakers were truly amazing. I love that you include such diverse individuals and topics. The self-care segments really resonated with me this year as I am going through a particularily difficult time in my business and personal life after a serious MVA in June. Your segments are helping me on my path to recovery and I want to thank you for everything you do.
