How to Hire the Perfect Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers (and Other Pet Service Providers)
If you have hired staff, need to hire more staff, or are contemplating hiring staff, this webinar is especially for YOU.
Kristin Morrison is the host of the Prosperous Pet Business Online Conference and the founder of the Six-Figure Pet Sitting Academy™ and Six-Figure Pet Business Academy™. She was the owner of one of the largest pet care companies in Northern California before she sold it in 2013.
Kristin is excited to share her hiring secrets with pet business owners who need more help in their businesses or who are finding themselves stuck in the hiring process.
In the 18 years of running her pet care business, Kristin hired over 250 staff members to work in her pet care company. She often had as many as 35 wonderful dog walkers, pet sitters and other pet care providers working on staff at a time.
Please note that this special conference segment is from a hiring workshop that Kristin did for the conference that the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) held in San Antonio, Texas a few years ago.
Oh and this is important: you may find the audio and Kristin's mouth a bit out of sync toward the end of her talk. We really apologize about that. Our very talented videographer did everything he could to try and sync it and on some computers it's fine and others it's still a little out of sync. We hope you'll find the content worth the sync issue if you do experience Kristin's mouth not quite in sync with the audio.
This segment is a little over an hour long—so buckle your seat belts and enjoy the hiring education ride! A special thank you to NAPPS for this conference video. You rock, NAPPS!

I love to speak at conferences. I work a lot virtually (through webinars and private one-one-one pet business coaching sessions) and I very much enjoy working that way. And there is something so rich and wonderful about actually connecting face-to-face with an audience of pet business owners especially in this virtual age. (I know you know what I mean.) If you have a conference or pet business networking group that you’d like me to speak at, email me and let’s talk. A special thank you to NAPPS for the opportunity to speak at a number of their pet sitting conferences throughout the years. (It’s always been such a delight to meet you NAPPS members!) Hiring can be an overwhelming and daunting experience, especially if it’s your first time... but even if it’s not, it can be challenging! I hope that this talk will calm your nerves and inspire you to get on the hiring horse.

Hi Kristin, I like your presentation about by hiring that in long term you will be making more money and have more free time doing more productivity stuff. And by not hiring staff, we are just considered as “self-employed” and not a running a “business”.
