Prosperous Pet Business Podcast

Podcast #127: Protect Mental Health and Prioritize Self-Care

Please note: This is Part Two of Gabrielle’s coaching session.

In today’s coaching session I’m working with Gabrielle, a pet sitter Post Falls, Idaho.

Gabrielle has expanded her pet sitting service company to include providing dog treats, items like training treats and large and small peanut butter biscuits.

Gabrielle wants to expand the treat portion of her business and eventually add other services so her company can be a “one stop shop” for pet owners.

And, though she is passionate about expanding and growing in new ways, she also wants to protect her mental health in the process and not burn herself out.

This is part two of this session but you can hear part one on Episode 126.

After talking with Kristin and really working through what this business means to me and how I want to see it grow, I got crystal clear on what I need to be spending my time on. I’m in the process of hiring on someone to work my pet sitting jobs so that I’m able to dedicate more time working ON the business not IN the business.

I feel more prepared than ever to really make room for God to move through me and others with Treat Yo Pets! I am now selling my dog treats in two local stores and a third on the way! I’m testing new recipes and I’m even pricing out resources I need to put together a subscription box (which my current customers and SUPER excited about). I know that this business will be a tremendous resource and benefit to local pet parents and beyond in the near future!

Thanks, Kristin!
