How Busy Pet Business Owners Can Create Healthy and Portable Lunches to Support Optimum Health and Energy

So many pet business owners are pressed for time and that can often cause them to put healthy cooking and eating at the bottom of their To Do list (or not have healthy cooking on there at all).

What pet business owners often forget is that healthy food is fuel. When we put good, healthy fuel into our body, we are able to run our business in a more energized, grounded and empowered way. And often our mood and attitude will improve and our view of our world can shift simply from what we are eating.

Marcie invites us into her kitchen to teach us three healthy lunch items that are quick and easy to prepare.

Marcie Prohofsky

In This Segment You Will Learn:

  • How to make healthy cooking a top priority and what stops most people from cooking
  • Cooking demo of three healthy, portable lunches you can take with you
  • The defining moment in Marcie’s life that got her passionate about healthy cooking
  • How to choose portable containers that work for your lifestyle and tips for being organized in the kitchen
  • Tips for making healthy cooking easy, fun and simple and in a way that supports your busy lifestyle
  • And much more!

I adore Marcie. And I also love her hair.  You’ll see what I mean when you watch this segment. Her hair reminds me of a living, breathing entity! But more important than her hair: being in Marcie’s kitchen is an exciting, fun experience and I’m so glad you get to experience that today. I realize that some of these recipes are unusual and I invite you to have an open mind and heart when you watch this segment. Be open to trying new foods and flavors. Let yourself be curious when exploring new tastes. Food is powerful. YOU are powerful. Take some time today to fuel your body in a healthy way. You and your body deserve it!

Aloha All. Gee, after that, I’m ready for dinner, LOL! THANK YOU Kristin and Marcie.
Marcie, you are a true artist, fun and inspiring. I will definitely try your recipes. I’m not likely to ever become vegetarian or vegan, do like a little “flesh” (sorry); I describe myself more as an “equal opportunity eater”, LOL (unfortunately, that can get me into dietary trouble now and then). My other criteria is that, if it used to move on its own, I won’t eat it if it looks on my plate like who it used to be. What a wimp, LOL.

I have to comment on the “make time” philosophy — I have to laugh whenever anybody says that. There are exactly 24 hours in a day, 1440 minutes. We can’t “make” another hour in a day, we can’t make another minute. So what this philosophy really means is you have to DROP something in your life in order to make room for something else. Sometimes that’s a really good thing to do. Maybe you have 1 too many activities, so set one aside for awhile in order to make time to make a healthy meal, or maybe we have to “drop” that extra “sleep in” hour on Sunday mornings in order to “make time” to go for a jog. It really does one good to now and then come up for air and take stock of one’s life and how we spend our hours and minutes each day. Are we getting the most bang for our buck in how we choose to spend our time? Is it time to trade one thing we do for doing something else for awhile?
It is really difficult sometimes to find balance cause sometimes we really do have too many priority ones in life for awhile and it’s difficult to figure out which one(s) can be put on hold temporarily in order to facilitate better accomplishing the others.
But back to my favorite subject: FOOD, thanks again Kristin and Marcie for bringing such fun energy to the kitchen (I actually like cooking), and sharing those wonderful healthy recipes.
